Is coolant supposed to come out of these 2 Viper head bolts (see picture) when the engine is warm and running? My system was drained to install a rear SRX cooler and Opticool head gasket. I refilled it with 1+ gallons and have run it on a stand twice for 10-15 minutes each time (the running boards and rear cooler got hot each time). If it matters... the #11 knob is in the "ON" position and I can't turn it by hand (didn't want to force it with pliers so I don't know what happens when it is "OFF").
Both times I've left the coolant cap off until the coolant started to steam. I figured it would burp itself that way.

alot of times, no, they wont bleed anything, as the knob is hard to turn and the corrosion blocks up the area by the kob blocking the hole, I dont even bother with them.
The way you did it is fine.
