sounds about right, I used to watch and it seems yamaha was just something for Blair to get traction on in a corner.
They may have just won one year, but they did good. I say, take the nytro off the sno x course and put in the 00-01 sxr, if it was allowed to be there. Would still be more competetive than the nytro.

In 1999 Nathan Titus(Yamaha) came within one point of winning the open mod title(and this was against Blair Morgan).
It was six points, I have the hi lites video here. I also learned that Chris Vincent (a couple of years later) didn't like the viper mod motor, so they put in a watercraft motor from a xl 700 and it was sligthly better.

Hard to believe its been 15 years since then.All the sleds look like bathtubs with skis.Little did we know rider-forward and fourstrokes were just around the corner......
