I need some help. My 1990 Exciter didn't have spark. I trouble shot it to the TOR switch in the throttle. when I squeeze the throttle to start i have spark. when I start up my sled it goes full throttle just squeezing it a little bit. If I let go it losses spark and just dies? any ideas?

well I found my own problem. when I cleaned out my carbs I didn't get my throttle in quiet right in one carb, so it sensed full throttle. got everything put back together and it runs great!

Just imagine,,,,,,
Had the TORS been bypassed your sled would have had spark when you first tried to start it.
And since the carbs weren't "quite right" going to "full throttle",,,,,,,,,,,you would have had one BIG!!! problem had the track been on the ground......
Just another reason/example to the importance of a WORKING TORS.
