Has anyone else pulled their Power valves and saw the center valve was carboned up but the other two were oiled and clean? I mean the center one was dry as a bone. The plugs looked good.
Just a thought, I had a slight coolant leak from the head gasket(oring) being corroded. Coolant was getting in the cylinder. When a pulled the powervalve is was perfectly clean. The hot coolant must have cleaned off the carbon. Just a something you could look for.
When I pulled the pipes off there was a little coolant in the exhaust manifold. No the sled had not been warmed up or run very long so if it had been the coolant would probably burned off.

Thanks. What I meant was the Carbon was dry as a bone. Like a cake that was in the oven too long.
no, its not normal, that cylinder has been running hotter then the other 2 thats all. So its either a carb setting or dirt in the carb, slight airleak around reed cage, etc. something to make it run hotter.
