2 cycle oil

whats the best 2 cycle oil for a 1991 exciter 2? I put Havoline TC-W3 in it. and I don't think that's the answer. No power and bogs. thank you.

Was it a pre-mix type of oil or for oil injection? If it isn't/wasn't for oil injection I would be getting as much of it out as you can. My brother in law has 2 exciters (90&91 or 91&92?) and he runs yamalube in them. I think you would be fine with just about any reputable oil, I got a buddy that swears by the super tech (?) Walmart brand like $10 a gallon, used to be in a blue jug not sure now in his 2001 SxR red head triple

Walmart supertech. still a blue gallon jug. $12. its all I ever run. yamalube can quickly exceed the price of an older sled at $40 a gallon.

I think its for the pre-mix. theres a ratio chart on the back of it. I'll look for the wal mart brand. Yamaha lube is getting to exspensive here in northern mich its like 10.00 a quart. thanks everyone!!!!!
