Happy New Year everyone! Does anyone have a fix for condensation forming on the inside lens of the gauge for a Viper?

couple ways to fix it:
1.) remove the guage from the sled and place it overnight on your heat register in the house, it will dry up the moisture in it,reinstall
2.) remove gauge from sled and take off the front lens and wipe it clean, reassemble and install.

once you get it dried out, order part #8ES-82599-00-00, if they are still available. its the new style sealing boot found on sleds after 05 that yamaha used to remedy the problem.
disconnect your connector from the back of the head unit and cut off the existing boot. heat up the new one in some hot water and carefully stretch it over the connector. with the connector attached to the head unit, slide the new boot all the way up to the to the sealing flange, its about 1/2" down. once you get it all how you want it, tape the end of the new boot to the harness. i use a small zip tie first, and then a good quality electrical tape. i have been having good luck with starbrite's liquid electrical tape.
if your gauge's lens is water damaged, you can get a new one. part #8EK-8353E-00-00
