I recently cleaned my 05 Yamaha FXR Team short jacket because there was grounded in oil from the pull rope. The stain was on the white, blue and the white Yamaha logo.
This is what I used:
Fast Orange (Citras, biodegradeable, degreaser, hand cleaner, non-abrasive) -
2.75 at Aco Hardware
OxieClean: 5.50 at Aco Hardward.
1.) I used a white all cotton shirt that I cut into a dish rag size. Appled the FastOrange cleaner direct to the stain dry and work out the stain. Be sure not to RUB to hard in area.
2.) Rinsed in COLD water in a dish container about 6 times. The stain was out but I washed the area.
3.) OxieClean used as directed per their instructions on the cleaned area to brighten the white.
4.) Repeat the RINSE 6 times and let dry on a hanger. Once it dryes it sets, so make sure it is clean.
-- Be sure to check the tag for WASH info and call the manufacture FIRST --
Jacket looks like new.
Just thought I would pass the info to the TY gang.
