Collar location with anti-ratchets

When installing anti ratchets, where do the two metal rings go on the driveshaft? Do they butt up against the drivers? Or do I scribe where they are in the stock location and put them there?

I am assuming the "rings" you are talking about sit to the outside of the outer drive wheels to keep them from moving out of place. If so, you could put them to the outside of the extroverts after they are pressed on, but not necessary. If you are talking about the "rings" on the drivers themself, they have to stay on the proper driver during installation.
