Vmax 800 Radar Run Clutching and Gearing

Any good setups for a stock 1995 800 running 1000 ft? Really want to run 110+...running consistant 107mph. Speed track with ice picks, lowered.

Stock gearing.

Running the above setup, however have the stock cover on the primary. I will run it both ways to see what happens, however with short cover I am creeping the rpm's a bit high on the big end.

ya figured that. short cover makes spring think it has more pre-load. my issue is spring bind. which ever feels best. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Put tall cover in and still creeping in the rpms up top. Also, have a fuel issue that I just posted. Pumping fuel out the overflow tubes...checked float level and its continues to dump fuel. Any thoughts??

o-rings around the seats are shot.

Nothing to do with the leak, but top speed.
Are your float bowl vent tubes vented to the air box? Or factory hanging in the pan?

They are vented to the pan...

Run them vent lines up the steering post to the pad on your handlebars. When you run them to the pan for long runs this creates a rich situation and you'll lose power.
