Went out for a ride tonight, yes -15 out but not bad. First noticed my hand warmers were not working. Stopped for a bite to eat got out fired sled up and no head light, tail light, dash lights and tach was not working. I shut it off and restarted then everything come on but had warmers did not work. While riding the sled it would just stall, give it gas and would go ding ding ding, I would let it idle down or choke it out to get her going again then take off all was fine for a mile or two then it would do it again. 2002 SRX no dcs flasing, what do I look for? Thanks!
ding,ding,ding problem=the throttle cable is too tight. loosen up the adjuster on top of carb rack.
the reason the lights and stuff wouldnt come on is because the relays have moisture in them, its the light and laod control relay, they are white and blue, easiest way to fix is to unplug themand put them on your heat register in the house overnight, it will dry them out.
for the handwarmers, likely 1 of them is bad, hook each one up by itself and see which one is bad. youll need to run the sled over 4000rpm to get them warm also.
