Hi. Have change my electrical harness to a -04 and have a price engine. Can i leave the dcs cable as it it or do it need to ground the cable?

What year CDI you have?
If its a non DCS CDI you can just leave the wiring harness plug not connected to anything.
If you have a DCS CDI [02 SRX or 04 or Newer Viper] I would mount a sensor somewhere isolated from vibration to fool the CDI into thinking everything is normal...DON'T just ground the DCS wire as it actually senses resistance and shound not be grounded.
If you just leave the DCS wire unplugged with a DCS CDI performance will suffer.

I have both -02 and 04 CDI. But will my newer warmerswitch and speedo work with the -02 CDI?

I don't know about your handwarmers...but here's what I found on my 2002 DCS SRX
-2001 NON DCS CDI plugs right in and sled runs but now no DCS protection
-2002/3 Viper NON DCS CDI plugs right in and sled runs but again no DCS protection
-if I plug in a Viper DCS ,2004 and newer, CDI into my 2002 SRX the sled will not run...no spark
I believe Yamaha changed some of the wiring configuration on the Viper CDI connections when they upgraded to the DCS system.
