Do you guys tighten adjuster bolt finger tight as per Yamaha manual? then lock nut. Or back adjuster off 1/8 or 1/4 turn then lock up as some other brands call for?
Finger tight, back off 1/4 turn and lock it down. It's worked on every Yamaha I've owned for over 30,000 miles lol!!

X3 - it sure makes the brake quieter when the chain is just a hair under tight.
Make sure to rotate the secondary to ensure the slack is out of it (other side of gears).
