I have a 02 viper with the power valve code(7 flash).
First i start with cleaning and ajust the pv.
Probleme not resolve and the wire are mixing up under the servo cap.
I observed that when I start the engine, the servo turn clockwise about half a turn, after it turn 1.5 turns conterclockwise (the side that suppose to turn when pulling the valves when wire removed from the servo).when the wire are installed on the servo it turn on the wrong side about a half turn and this is when the wire are mixing up, after it turn to open the valve until it not able to pull more and keep them open, rpm does not affect the result of the servo.
I have tried 2 different servo motor. Problem seams not to be the servo, neather valves and cable....
Does anybody has an issue like that ?
I know that the powervalve are controlled by the cdi and it take the signal of rpm and tps.

Sure, because when I start the engine the servo turn in the wrong side before pulling the wires.
and the servo doing the same freegame when the wires are not installed ...
It is like if the cdi don't know the position of the servo..

the cables are not wrapped on the pulley the correct way, the servo has no idea where its at.

the cables enter in on the bottom side of the pulley and wrap around the pulley counter clockwise, 2 of them go in 1 slot and the other goes into the center slot all by itself.

ADD: I also notice the adjusters look like they are way out on the servo, if you have them too tight it will twitch and look for the spot to relive the tension.

Yes manThe cable are installed in the good way. Check the video again the cables mixing up because the servo begin to turn in the wrong side and it is not normal that the servo pull valve when engine turning idle (above 900rpm)
My friend have a 04 viper s and cable are install like me and it is working good. And on startup the servo dont turning in the wrong way ...

I look the video again and we dont see as much...
1rst pv cable is installed on the bottom slut and the nearest hole
2nd pv cable is installed on the nearest slut from the servo cap and nearest hole.
3rd is intalled in the center slut and farest hole

I will remove the air box and check the wiring harness for short or open circuit,
I will come back with my findings...

Yesterday i have inspected the wiring and I found my problem.....
There was wires that haved rubbing and shorted to ground near the 2 connecter (white and black) that plugging in the cdi.
I have repaired the 3-4 damaged wired and it is now working good.
