Flickering tail light

Going to be doing some tune up work on the sleds this weekend (I know it's already mid Jan) and my buddies (2000' Phaser 500) rear tail light is flickering on and off. I assume it is a ground issue somewhere but just wondering if anyone can save me some time on where to look if they have had this problem before?

Take the seat loose and check the wiring harness plug underneath and see if it's plugged in okay or if there is a broken wire in that area. Could also be a bad bulb.

True dat...My bulb went out last year and I thought it was time to replace bulb. Nuttin wrong with bulb, the harness came completely unplugged. My tail light/ brake light was intermittent leading up to this.
