hi im new to this site. my 98 600 srx has a broken pv cable. can I drive it like that will it cause damage. and where can I go to get some info to adjust new cable. something in lamens terms or a video would be great. thanks
look in the tech section u will find everything how to adjust them....it will not cause damage to run it that way but u should fix them to have all the power at high rpm
im not an expert, but i would not say that it won't damage anything. the motor block has a stop so the valve won't get into the cylinder, but it will slide around. i had one bounce around so much it got all chewed up and i needed to take a cylinder off to get the broken valve out. if i were you i would fix it immediately
