Well i'm in the process of installing heel clickers in my stock viper, using a 49/41 helix that i alresdy have. I know i will loose top end with that finish angle, but i ride mostly groomed trails. Anybody have a starting point with what i need to use for weight in them?
That's a pretty steep finish angle for a Viper. I would be looking at an finish angle more like 34-36 and maybe up to 38. You might lose some top end, but anyway, 5,2 grams in heel, 5 grams in tip, red hc spring. A hauck red secondary spring at 70 deg (if you don't have that, you probably have a green dotted secondary spring or a silver dotted one) and that helix you have. Others will tell you otherwise, but that would be my baseline.

red primary spring
4 grams heel
3.3 center
3.3 tip
with the 49/41 you can try the stock viper red sec at 90 and see if you can hang onto the belt, if not youll need a green sec spring at 70.
report back rpm and we can go from there, you want 8600rpm.
