you can discuss if prices remain high, alot of the newer sleds don't sell. This dealership can't seem to sell the new Vipers either..even with sale pricing and then add in to it the frieght, assembly fees and tax's..prices are way to high.Yamaha has to start getting their prices lower especially if they want new future riders.Right now the other sled brands are selling cheaper here for the most part..just an observation and when I came across this ad..was thinking with the economy slowing down them sleds won't be selling. No one is riding also with the major COLD weather that has remained here for almost 5 week already..you have to admit the prices are out of reach for most..used sleds are selling a lot more here.

When you can buy a car for dam near the price of a sled something is wrong

ain't that the truth...have you been riding in these cold temps??? I only rode some 60 miles total so far this season..got a big electric Bill to pay up next time around, sleds can sit..

Sick of this COLD, no riding this year, my son got hurt, so I don't want him riding so the sled are put away, it sucks but it is better for him, if I went away I know he would try to ride

i dont see myself ever buying new when they cost more than my truck haha. So far ive only gone though 1 1/2 tanks. went out for 30 min today since i was bored, lots of drifts to play in out there. I was supposed to start work tomorrow but it was called off due to the cold. guess ill just sit at home and not get paid...

couldn't be any colder could it..man -50 C windchills today, the power was out for a while South Wpg and us included.Lucky they got it back on fast enough..wouldn't want the temps in the house to drop that low.Tonight same crap into -50C and into the week..sick friggin winter so far..

They are only marginally cheaper down here. I ran some errands yesterday. I was out running around for about 2 hours, MOST of it not along/near the designated trails. I seen FIVE of them running around........

Same here. Prices bout the same. Those prices are not really out of line. Not that I think there cheap but no worse than prices in states. Those 850 dollars in dealer charges are what is a ton of crap!! Sled only takes an hour or so to uncrate and put together. Shipping is supposedly included in price of sled when dealer buys it at his cost. At least what dealer I worked at once told me. I just bought new viper and was pretty tough to justify. But figure Ill have this thing for next 5++ yrs. About like a car. But do agree they are not cheap. But rewind to 1997 and I was bitching about how much my 97 sx cost me. And that was a leftover. But had it for 8yrs. Was great sled. See how this one plays out. lol!! Think like anything you take care of it,it will take care of you.
