So, 99 700 Deluxe has no spark
We brought my buddies 99 700 Deluxe from Wisconsin last February. His chain case adjuster screw backed off and did some damage. It sat on the trailer in my driveway till last month. I installed used chain case and turned the key it started right up. Ran it till it warmed up and turned it off. Looked over rest of sled and charged the battery. Tried it several more times and ran fine. Parked it out side for two or three weeks and now we have 12 inches of snow on the ground which is rare here. Went out to start it and no spark? Flipped back and forth on kill switch, disconnected the tores and bypassed it. Installed new plugs. No spark. Does any one have a picture of the connector at the stator and what wire to check resistance. I have no manual. Sled has been on the trailer all this time. Never moved. After playing with it in 30 mph wind and snow in open field for 45 minutes I gave up. Are there any other test to do. I have another running 98 700 here if I have to swap parts but I would rather make tests. Thanks Gary
