Happy new year all members.Just would like to know which or what size are the POLARIS idlers a guy uses to change on the skid for longer wear of the sliders/hi-fax?There are an assortment os sizes -3.25,3.50.It's stamped on the outside on most.

Happy New Year bud..they should be 5.375" Got mine from Royal Distributing .Also invest in marginal wheel kit for the front of the rails.I hardly get wear on my sliders..may last 3 to 4 seasons easily or more.I moved my stock front idlers up a little closer to the curve of rails and then marginal wheels ahead of them.My wear has stopped in that area now..

I bought a marginal wheel kit years back from Royal but they didn't last to long as the wheels kept falling off.The 2 newer sets I have now are from Yamaha and way better quality..

The size is the 5.350" wheels, it doesnt matter on the center hub size as they will list 2 of those, but thats just the plastic bushings in the bearings. You will pop out the stock yamaha plastic bushings and put them in the polaris wheels, they will then just bolt right on. This will do all 4 in the front. The 2 other small wheels youll just pop out the bushings and they will go directly onto the yamaha shaft bolted in the skidframe before the big rear wheels.

Thats what I am looking for, yes looking at part # the wheels come up 5.350, I am going to do this as the skids coming out for some love, new hi-fax,straps, and a general allover. Thanks again guys'.

yep part # shows 5.350 but my invoice prints it as 5.375.. go for it..enjoy this cold winter we are having.Going to -6C this weekend here,so going to pu gas and do some real first time riding this season.Funny that I only put on some 100 miles only this time around.Last year this time I was well over 1500 miles and had a total of 3000 miles for the season. Not as enthusiastic about riding as in the past anymore.I know a lot of people here that have sold their sleds already and gave up the sport as it is to expensive to maintain.I want to just get down to one sled and just ride the odd time.Take care up in Flin Flon.

I put these on my apex purchased on ebay Poo wheels 5.35" PN 1594082 Seem to be used around 1999 on most models. They come in Blue and red and maybe black and yellow.
Hope this helps
