Ya the temps were the coldest I will probily ride in. We were right around 1 to -2 degree mark. Normal riding temps are between 30 and 10 degree here in Michigan. Pulling the heads just seems like to much work right now. Not to sound lazy. lol.

I'm running this jetting with 93 octain. Seld has H/C clutching, Bender can, Gutted air box and top is swissed, And V-force 3 reeds.

155 mains
50.0 pilot
air screw at 1.75
3.25 needle setting

no bud don,t need to pull heads to check wash. go right through spark plug hole. all ya need is a bend- a - lite. carb spec,s look good. gutted air box probley added to that lean look. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Good thinking on the light. I was using a regular flashlight and it wasent working too well. New excuse to go tool shopping thanks for the advise.

I think they look absolutely perfect. Leave it alone. I like that the electrode is clean and turns black at the bend. Also black around the base. If the clean electrode were to be clean all the way down to the plug base then I would agree to increase jettin.

I think I paid like 5 bucks for mine at NAPA. Little flex shaft, works great. Even has a laser on it that I can play with.

plenty safe looking to me as well, I dont see anywhere on it thats lean, go ride it!

Plugs don't have memory...what you are looking at is how it was running before it was shut down, with the pics of the plugs on the counter, I'm guessing you pulled them after a ride, and probably had some idle time perhaps. Doesnt tell the whole story. If you want to know what the jetting is like when you are, say, cruising...put new plugs in...run at cruise speed for a bit, then shut it down immediately and check them. I'd say you are fine though.;)!
