A fellow locally is interested in trading me windshields. Mine is the OEM tall clear style from a 2002 Vmax with the 2 bulb headlight. His is a low black kimpex for a 97 sx. On ebay, it lists several vmax windshields to fit a 97-01. Where mines an 02, I don't see any differences between the two based on the pics. Do any of u guys know what is different between them? They look like they mount on the same. Will this work? Thanx.

no it will not, has to be from a 2 bulb headlight to work on your 02 max.

Ok, thanx for the heads up. I am curious though: what is different about them? They look the same.

After looking at some more pics, I can see the difference. The 2 bulb windshield has more of a curve in front where it screws to the hood scoop.

The tabs that go threw the cowl and get the little rubber band retainer are spaced differently as well.
