Hi I have a 2001 SRX700 with Ohlins that I recently acquired and it is in excellent shape and low km but I think that every possible thing was adjusted and most of the things that were changed are setup totally wrong and I am trying to get a baseline to work from. While I am waiting for my weights to arrive (found 8dg's in the primary) I decided to dig into the suspension to see what has been changed there. The first question I have is what are the stock spacers in the transfer rods supposed to be? I have currently have what looks like a 2.5mm spacer on the bottom and what looks like a 10.5 and 2.5 mm spacer on the top. The limiter straps are pulled all the way up also.
I am looking to get 2 set ups:
1 "Trail aggressive" transfer rods set to stock, limiter straps at 32mm etc. (is the stock setup ok or do I need to make changes?).
2 "Race" on local ski hill no studs allowed so setup and traction will be important.
Thanks for any recommendations you may have. I have some spacers lying around from my mountain max that can be used also 7.5mm or I can order some in.

I just finished putting my limiter straps back to the stock 32mm setting. Next I will look at the shocks and baseline them and then start tuning it all over again. There is an excellent video on youtube on the proaction suspension if you haven't seen it yet it is worth the watch. Explains everything in detail and what each adjustment does.
