I am installing new crank seals in my 98 Bravo, on the Clutch side seal, there is a small notch cut out on the lip of the seal. I assume this is so oil can enter the bearing via this notch. My question is how do I position the notch, at 12 o'clock or 6 o'clcock.

Same question here. If I recall correctly, the notch was at 6:00 when I disassembled it. Anyone have a comment?
