I have 1995 v max 600 . It has the gyt twin pipes . It has 155 main jets and 50 pilot jets . Runs good low end and high end but has a midrange gurgle. Also plugs are always wet. I pulled head and cvclinders and installed new gaskets thinking coolant was leaking in but still does the same thing. Anybody have a suggestion Id appreciate it.

and are they wet with gas/oil or a milky substance, that means coolant.
The clips are in the no. 3 position The plugs seem wet but not milky.

if it were coolant it would me milky white, so your okay there. a gurgle means its rich, so you could try dropping the needle down some. go out to a filed or lake and do a decent half throttle pull. without letting off reach over and hit the kill switch. pull plugs and see if its lean or rich. are your carbs clean btw?
I cleaned carbs and every thing looked good when I had it tore down. I bought the sled used so I don't know if the jetting and clip settings were changed because of the gyt pipes. Im sure there was a recommended settings for the pipes. But don't know how to find that out.
