Does 98' SRX have light codes?

I ask this because my temp light comes on and blinks two or three times when i first start it then it stops. Is this normal? Took it for a quick 15 minute ride and had no problems.

The light should blink 3 times when you start it. You must look quick or you miss the first flash. In the service manual they show all the different codes. If it does anything other than the 3 flashes you may have a problem. Most likely power valves stuck. It sounds like you have no problem.
