Does anyone have a chart or info. that tells what the yamaha part number is for the corresponding main jet sizes?
I need to mail order jets (I cant find any in town)and I cant seem to find the information I need,what size is next
size up or down and what the part number is etc. Is there a better place to order these jets besides the dealer?
I have parts for the Mikuni round slides, nothing for these flats.

Well right now my Viper has the original 156.3 I would like to get the next two increments larger and one increment smaller. I dont have and cant find anything to info to tell me what hte increments are so I dont even know the size. I have converted to the SRX heads so I may have one cylinder a bit richer to early to tell I have also done a little porting(Sport Port) I am not sure how much differance it will make I just want to have jets if needed. And right the Yamaha dealer I called was not interested in helping at all. My closest dealer is about 45min away...sucks.

Cant speculate on what size you should try or run BUT Bender racing has a page that lists all the OEM Yamaha sizes and aftermarket in betweens.

I just ordered a couple of jets for my Viper yesterday. Yamaha dealers seem to charge more for small items in my opinion. Mail order is very simple. Pioneer Performance sells jets at $3 each. 716-496-8800
No worries about part numbers either just tell them what sled model.

Yes what size I actually need is tbd.I was hoping there was something out there that stated part numbers and sizes.I checked out and found what you meant on the Bender site I may go that direction or pioneer
they are a bit cheaper.Yamaha part numbers would be nice incase of emergency, I could make the trip if they had them.

here you go:
156.3=3G2-1423E-62-00
157.5=3G2-1423A-82-00
158.8=3G2-1423E-63-00
160=3G2-14321-32-00
155=3G2-14231-31-00
153.8=3G2-1423E-61-00
152.5=3G2-1423A-81-00
151.3=3G2-1423E-60-00
150=3G2-14231--30-A0
shouldnt have to deviate from here, but there is alot more on the list going smaller.

Are you running the SRX carbs or the Viper carbs. I have heard of a few guys running the SRX carbs in a Viper. Something about the needles being richer?

I was advised to run the SRX nozzles and needles in my Viper carbs from J Simons at CPR. We were trying to flow more fuel for a BB. There is a large selection of needles, nozzles, air jets, slides, main jets and pilots for the Mikuni 33mm carb.

Right now the Viper carbs, jet the mains correct ,raise the needle,should be ok. I dont want to change to much right now incase something isnt quite right it will be a pia to figure out with a bunch of changes all at once.Somthing to think about tho.
Thanks for the info snowdad, thats what I needed.
