just picked a pair of brand spankin new 02 Viper Skis from a member on here for my 00 SXR. I also have Woodys carbides for the Viper Skis. How do I get them to fit properly? Shims? Drill? BFH LOL?

You have Viper skis and Viper carbides? I'm guessin ya meant SX carbides. But yea, I've drilled holes in skis before. Worked fine.

nope I do have Viper Carbides as well
the holes don't match up at all to the sled. the carbides fit perfect but I don't know what I need to do to mount the skis and carbides to my SXR. The holes don't line up
I have a set of SX carbides as well, but I don't see them fitting the viper ski without drilling...I'd hate to drill holes into brand new skis

I put USI SS Railers on my SX7. I also had a new set of Carbides for my sons OE skis for a 99 SX6. Drilled one hole in each ski and the deed was done. No problems.
still cant mount the skis in my case. The bolt holes don't line up on the bracket (stock mounting Shoe) at all.
perhaps I need a different mounting saddle?

Sorry but the saddle on the SXR is differant than the Viper saddle. If you had the Viper saddles they will bolt directly to the steering spindle. I suggest locating Viper saddles. I have swapped around all types of ski's on my SXR's I have found the Vipers to be very nice, but i really prefer the Apex saddless ski's. Light weight and very easy to turn and float great. Al

as said if you use viper saddles they will bolt right up to the spindle, however you will lose a little bit of ground clearance as the viper saddle is shorter then your srx/sxr saddle. Just want to point that out.
if you can make your sxr/srx saddle fit the viper skis youd be the same as before and get the bigger keel of the viper ski, would work good.
