Just wondering what skis people have had good luck with on these sleds and what hardware is needed for everything.
I would love to be running power lines and ditches all the time but neither this suspension , weight or skis will allow it.. But I would like a wider plastic ski with a little better flotation and a little less darting than the stock steelies

I put a set of the 5.5 inch yamaha GYTR skis on my 97 sx, seem to work good in deep snow.
Where's the best place to look for skis. Any specific vendor? And will they mount right up or do I need to buy other parts

I found mine on Ebay, they bolt right up, you just need longer bolts. They look just like the srx/sxr skis just wider. You could put up a wanted ad on here, someone might have some.

i put a set of "universal plastic skis" on my sled and personally like them a lot.... even better than the oem yamaha ones on my sxr before.
I just bought a set of nytro skis on mine. longer bolts and they bolt right up!
I have a good set of GYTR ski's off of one of the SXR's. Blue loops. If you are interested PM me and maybe we can make a deal. Not sure how much shipping is, but we can see. Al

I've got stock 98 srx plastic usi skis on my 97 proaction venture. Those of course bolted right up.
