I've read about scissor bushing shim kits, instead of replacing the bushings, but I can't find out where to buy a kit? Is the a complete bushing and shim kit? I think the scissors may have some wear in the bushing sleeve, so I assume that new bushings may slightly improve the slop in the front end but won't be like new... Thanks for the help!

Schmidtbros motor sports sells the entire kit to rebuild your scissors for about $50. Give Chris a call.
Ps- After you complete rebuild you may want to consider adding grease zerks to help prolong the life of the new bushings. You can check out the SBM website for an example. Pretty easy and inexpensive mod just need 6mm grease zerks, 6mm tap, and a 3/16 drill bit.

Found some at DK. Cannot give a review as I have not used this brand.

You can shim up those bushings. Take a pop can, and with scizzors, cut strips of that can into the width/depth of the bushing.
