have a set of 8ca weights empty right now and I was thinking about trying them in my piped cpr viper. changed the top gear down to 21 any suggestions where to start with how much to add to the weights, primary spring, and what helix.

I don't know about those weights but I know with 8dn-20's you want to be around 55 grams. I wonder if you might want to be about the same. I know there a better clutch tuners that could point you in the right direction.

8ca 4.5 heel, 2.4 tip, green/white/green primary spring, 15mm rollers, 50/40 helix with green at 70-80 twist.

thanks mr viper your always quick to help out. I don't have a 50/40 at the moment but I do have hauck 51/43 measures 49/41 will that be close enough

tried to do a wide open run to check my top rpms and could only get 8300. I think it was because it was 44 degrees out. week or so earlier I was hitting around 8800 when I punched it and this weekend 8000. just goes to show weather and conditions do have a lot to do when testing. im using a Dalton 50/40 with rest of the set up
