So after cleaning my carbs and putting them back in having some issues with the throttle cable, I put in a mountain viper throttle cable to use with my adjustable riser but still need to get a longer oil cable. So my problem is the throttle cable doesn't have that metal elbow like the stock cable did. I plan on running it through the airbox like I did before but it doesn't work without that elbow, so not sure what to do about this, just looking for the best option.

I ran mine through the air box and was able to connect it properly. Not sure what your riser is like and if you are still using your handlebar pad but mine is a 4" solid one and I ran the cables outside the handlebar pad, not inside it like the original cables. Other than that I'm not sure why you are having problems

the problem I'm having is I have a good 3-4' inches more with this cable compared to the stock one so if I route it through the airbox since I don't have that elbow the airbox cover pinches the cable where it comes down and screws into the top of the carb.
