I am looking for a little help as to why my srx is hard to start now. I added risers and new cables. I finally got to ride it today. We ride for about 150-15 miles then I shut It down to look It over. When we went to take off, it took me 8-10 pulls and a little throttle to get It started. It happened on our other 2-3 sold also. It was never a problem before no matter what the temp it would fire up on the first pull after running. My cable adjustments should be within spec. Any help is appreciated.
Check the reed pedals for a good seal and no chips or cracks, etc. Take carbs apart and clean pilots. Take needle and seat off and clean top hat filters. How is your fuel pump and tank filter? When mine was warm, I would have to crack throttle about 1/8th to start it after resting for 5-10 mins. Something is wrong if you have to pull it 8-10 pulls when throttle partially cracked. What is idle RPM?
Maybe something wasn't put back on exactly how it came off, but my sled likes alittle touch if the throttle when starting warm. Always has, since new.

since you added the risers check the choke cable. depending on the temp i have to give mine a little throttle when pulling it over as well after it's warmed up.
