exciter 2 sx coolamt pump and belt

got a new pump but unable to install it with the belt on. is there a easy way toget the belt on over the pump or is there a way to loosen the belt to get the pump on ?
 

You can use a flat base screwdriver, put the belt on the bottom pulley, start it on the top pulley and slowly pull the sled over. Use the screwdriver like a tire lever and help it up and over into the pulley groove.
 
got it. get a course file and file 1/8-1/4 off the aluminium front of water pump opening. slides right in and housing coveres it all avet
