I have a 1982 340 enticer. This past weekend the machine wouldn't idle without the sled moving. To start it I had to have someone pick-up the back. Good thing it's light. I'm assuming a clutch issue. Are there adjustments that could be made? Any help appreciated.

Welcome to the site.
The center to center clutch adjustment being off can do this but this adjustment doesn't just happen without moving the engine in it mounts. It could have the wrong belt on it?
My first suspicion would be the clutch weights and housing is so worn the primary is stuck on. This happened to one of our 82 SS 440's 25 years ago.
Pull the primary cover off and take a look to see if everything moves freely.
