Hey guys I have a 99 srx all stock other than hauck growlers... I have a full speed track with picks and chisels to the max. Went to try it out on the ice and all it does is spin allmost the whole way down I have adjustable transfer rods installed also. I'm going crazy trying to get it to hook anybody have any advice?

I think most of the guys here that race regularly will tell you too many studs will have this affect.

Even the guys running ported/big bore sleds don't use more than 144. Easier to lay on a bed of nails than laying on three... more penatration.

At least from what I've read... makes sense to me.

for starters picks and chisels have to be same length. 192 is sweet number for me. hard to believe your spinning that farr. i would pull that skid out and see where your front limiters are set at. sounds like you have no weight transfer. 3:16 (yammie tony)

I have lots of bite on mine with 168 picks and chisels mix. I have never had traction prob on ice with any of mine with right studs in them.

I have run 192 and 240 chisels in a speed track and they both hooked up fine. The key is suspension set up. You need to tie down the front suspension or shorten the shocks, take out your limiters and shorten them up, loosen front skid shock. And if you really want to get serious get your rear shock shorten. I would leave pick marks in just about any ice. And the speed track is for sale.
