2002 Viper ER carb settings

there is a lot of talk about the lean mid range these sleds have....So what is the needle setting to cure or help with this lean condition...also...is stock jetting pretty close on these sleds or do they need to be jetted differently....In Northern Illinois...

Also...where is the link that tells the measurement on the oil pump setting and where measurement is to be taken.....thanks
