1980 SRV. The steering is freezing. I ride it, take a break and when I get back on the sled the steering is frozen. How do I solve this?
Thanks

Heres a pic of what I did to my fathers 1996 ET410.This mod was also done to late model VK540III right from the factory. All you need is a drill bit(one to match the tap size) ,1/4 tap and grease nipple.Frozen steering was a real problem for this sled NFIG]53842[/ATTACH]

I have a 92 Phazer II that the steering gets real tight when it's real cold. I was gonna post and seen this. Thanks for the info.

Thank you.
No problem.Just remember to not drill in too far on the knuckle.Theres a little space between the knuckle and the inside part(This is where water collects and freezes).Fill it with low-temp grease, problem solved.
