Hello all
I finally got sled running proper. Now I got caught in one of the snow haters brick traps. That that some like to leave in the ditches around here. The right trailing arm is crushed not sure what else to mad to look. I don't see many options on crapebay. Ill call my local salvage in the morning but figured I see if anyone had one for sale on here.
Thanks

Just an FYI. ALL the SRX's and SX (short travel sleds) are all identical angles/camber etc, color may vary depending year and model. The SxR,Venture (long travel sleds) are very similar and will bolt in but angles/cambers are just slightly different but will bolt on and work. You will find a capital letter stamped in the very front of the trailing arm, stick to what you have or a pair of something else. Stay away from Viper arms as the spindles are different (you would need spindles)

I thought the SXR and Venture also have longer spindles like the Viper... or is that just the Viper?

People put traps up to intentionally stop snowmobiles? That sounds really dangerous! If you were in a ditch, im assuming its not on private property? I gues i'm lucky that people are generally pretty friendly to snowmobilers in my area.

Don't know if it's the same thing nor would I call it a brick trap, but I bricked above and around each end of my colvert to reduce the erossion. Does that make me a snow hater?

Just the Viper as far as I know. The year or two that the Viper was basically a Viper with a 2up seat I am unsure. I know the older red head (or twin) Ventures are popular donors for long traveling SRX. My 99 SRX has a pair of 01 SxR arms in silver. Several others have done this and I didn't even notice a difference in how it rides.

hey all thanks for the info I ended up finding one local. I wasnt on private property. I was in a ditch basically on edge of road. One ski off the edge. There was a cinder block buried in snow may not have been intentional but have seen people lay barbed wire acrossed the ditches around here. All sorts of fun ways to stop the snow mobiles. Also sorry mod next time ill post it in wanted forum
