I have a 2009 venture rs gt. got it last year with 4,000 kms know I have 7,400 kms the last Couple of ride of the humming nose is driving me crazy, I don't know if it a bearing or track too. I checked the drive shaft bearing it still had a bit of grease in it so I pack it with more grease. Can someone help me what I should do with the nose? Thanks

Welcome to the site. Unfortunately none of my 2 strokes have a humming nose......maybe its a 4 stroke thing? All the usual the usual things like track alignment, chain case lube, chain itself come to mind. May have better luck on the 4 stroke side.

The things I mentioned apply to both, Unsure if theres another exclusive to 4 stroke.

What speeds are you getting the noise at? The yamha 4 strokes are quiet enough that you can hear the track howl at certain speeds. Mine howls around 50 kph so I just never ride at that speed.
