My ovation was running poorly so I took the carbs appart and cleaned them real well.
Now its only running on one cyl. at a time. Idles great but barely moves itself.
- I checked spark plugs and replaced with fresh one. It gets spark on both plugs, but one of them is always weaker than the other one. It will alternate between wires when I change the boots and plugs.
I have eliminated the plugs, wires and boots since the weak spark can happen on either of those.
Anyone has an idea?

have you tried new plug caps? sounds like the resistance is off on one of them.

Tried new plug caps with same results.
So I ordered a new Coil. VOILA!
It runs like a champ.
So for those loosing spark on older Ovations....change that old Coil. They are only 30$.
