I don't drive my srx on the trails often and I just put a new crank and top end in it and really don't want to have to rebuild it ever again I figure if I mix the gas it's one less thing to worry about but I'm not sure so I'd like some input please

If you completely eliminate the oil pump you will loose the oil supply to the water pump/ oil pump drive shaft bearings.
IMO...for trail riding I would NOT eliminate the stock oiling system as it works very well when it is in proper repair. After a rebuild I would ensure that all the oil lines are connected, not leaking, and that the line check valves are pointed in the right direction.
Ensure that the oil pump cable is adjusted properly.
For the first tank I would premix about 50:1 until you have established that the oil pump is working and that you are using @ 1 litre of oil per tank of fuel...then you are good to go!

you can run premix in it but the few crank bearings and waterpump bearings are lubed by the oilpump. Youll need to block off the pump but add a small reserve and keep oil in it so the waterpump bearing will have a oil supply and keep the reserve filled up.I used a motorcycle master cyl cup with small line to block off plate on the drag only sleds.
why do you think the oilpump is gonna go bad? In all the srx/viper engines I have taken apart not once have I seen a pump stop and ruin a engine, just curious?

Thanks for the input guys, I just want to be safe but like u said if those pumps are reliable I'll just put new lines on and I should be fine
