Hi sorry if i posted this in the wrong spot i bet i did but i am totally new to this forum and just made an account yesterday.

ok so first of all earlier this season i went out and bought my first Phazer and figured this sled is reliable and should be lots of fun. Well it was for the 125 miles i got out of it. :( we were riding on the Muskatawa trail when it blew up it didn't really blow up it just died and at first i was bummed out but then i figured ehh its only the top end that blew up.... not a big deal. When we got it home just for kicks and giggles i figured I'd get the Compression tester out and see what each cylinder was putting out. It turned out to have 125 psi in both cylinders. The Snowmobile still ran great started first pull it just sounded bad and the noise is coming from what sounds like is the clutch side of the motor. Bottom end bearing? Not sure.

Also just yesterday i bought another Phazer the same year that just floods the whole exhaust and cylinders with fuel, i figured that one of the carburetors floats must be stuck causing it to just pour fuel out. In addition the guy i bought it from says that it has a performance pipe on it and sounds cool but the deal with this snowmobile he said was he couldn't get it to ever idle but he said when you get the it going down the road it runs like a raped ape outta hell!! sooo i'm not sure what the deal is with that but if you could give me your thoughts that would be awesome.
(Questions)

The pipe has no badges or stampings in it i would like to run the pipe for the extra 14 hp but i want it all tuned in and running right.
how or are there any tricks to getting your secondary clutch off whoever put the bolt in tightened way!!! to tight our 1/2 impact or a breaker bar wont even do it.

I will post pictures of the pipe as soon as i can

on the one with the noise, I would pull either the exh y pipe off or the carb boots and check if the connecting rod bearings are gone. might be the wrist pin is seized in the connecting rod and has broken loose from piston. one of my uncles has blown up 3 phazer motors from crank bearings and a couple of enticer motors from the wrist pin knock.

I have no idea whose pipe that is. might just be a full race pipe.

I would take the pipe and carbs from the knocking one and put them on the one with the pipe until you have a chance to tear into the knock. that way you are not messing with the jetting.

Yep i did that but no luck the motor keeps flooding itself i thought it was the carbs float might have been getting stuck but i have checked and cleaned the carbs 4 times and then on addition to that i tried another set of carbs that were clean but it still floods!! i don't know if maybe the fuel pump is just pumping fuel into it im not sure what to do.

also i did figure out what pipe it was though i don't know what type it is though, its an AAEN but whether its the "Can" "torquer" or the "race pipe" i do not know so if you could help me figure out what it is that would be wonderful and any ideas on what to do with the flooding would be appreciated

i never had this problem before and should i change fuel pumps would that work ?
