2002 with 7k miles on it stopped driving today. Motor is fine. I replaced the belt and when it started slowing down it was making a squalling growing noise. When you get on the throttle the belt smokes and goes no where.

Sounds like something is jammed up in the chain case or track/rear suspension. Will the track turn by hand? Is the park brake on?
