I had a ski off the other day because a plastic liner was coming off and was wondering if this is stock of an add on. It is in the middle of the front of the ski, bolted with mini screws through the ski and held in back by the front of the runner. It seems to protect the ski and might be there to help darting. Mine seem on their last leg and not parallel to the ski surface from wear and age. Is this what some refer as arrows? Who makes em and were can these be purchased?

Maybe a picture? Sounds like but I don't think your talking about Bergstroms ski saver.

Those are add on and they are to help with darting and steering. I think dennik kirk still sells them they were called "easy steer". Shade tree has them also, quick search got me this. http://www.shadetreepowersports.com/Easy-Steer-Kits-s/3082.htm
