SRV Carb swap

Could someone who has swaped the oem carb for a Mikuni, post a baseline for jetting? How did you rework the oil pump cable?

I looked up that cable and I also looked up the throttle cable, I don't see where the oil pump cable connects?
 
The oil pump cable AND throttle cable connect to the throttle lever on the Exciters. This is why you need a oil pump cable,throttle block and throttle lever from a ex570.
 
yes I have done it a few times now you will need a throttle block from 87-93 EX 570 (not the 93 SX) or from a vmax 540 oil pump cable will come from a EX 570 as well you will have to pretty much remove the motor from your SRV to get the pump off to replace the cable .......carb will be a 40mm mikuni with
2.5 slide
40 pilot at one turn on the air screw
7dh3 needle in the 3 position
AA-5 tube and
410 main
all fits with in the stock carb boot and carb to airbox boot for a factory look
 
yes but you have to remove the 3 screws and the cap on the pump to replace it while you are in there clean it up and regrease it with some low temp light grease
