restoration 79 Exciter

ok another dead end for me.got blister on my finger from looking on web for a set of front ski shocks for my 79 440 exciter . is there another sled that is compatable for the ski shocks . I see on e bay but want new ones not worn out ones like I already have lol any help greatly appreciated

What is the length of the shock when opened and closed?

If you can live without them being chrome....go with new aftermarket
