I put 350 miles on my sled this weekend. On the way back of a 130 mile run I started to hear a bearing noise. After five miles I stopped to look at it. I touched the Speedo bearing and it was cool. All boogie wheels are smooth. I wiggled the secondary clutch and bearing is not sloppy. track wasratcheting yesterday and I tightened it. twhen I hit bumpsit has a plastic. Bucket full of gravel sound. It also makes that noise when letting off the gas and hitting brake. Track and speedo bearing was new two years ago.It is it two too tear it apart and I have my sons here that I need to break in.. any ideas?

Sounds like something in the rear suspension. Besides the bogies, did you check all the large wheels in the rear axle and up in the tunnel? Small wheels up in tunnel? Anything loose hanging down to contact track such as tunnel protector or front heat exchanger/protectors?
Any damage to the steel suspension arms, the are known to crack/break and could rub on track or wheels. Also check the lower mount for the center shock (front shock of rear suspension), these do break.

I've had the plastic bucket of gravel sound on my Apex on a regular basis, when I first start out on a ride after all the tunnel ice freezes up overnight or after a long enough delay between rides. It rubs and kinda grinds for a little while until it kicks it all out, if it's really bad I'll tip the sled and find the big chunk and break it up, usually at the front heat exchanger.

I'm not sure how to respond to this?

Sorry too (cold) to work on.
It is not ice. It could be rear bearings I guess. Noise is all in front. On a good note my rearing job is running great.

Chaincase bearings or other internal damage, chain out of adjustment and slipping over teeth?
Damage/break in the driveshaft area, break still being held together enough by sprocket?
Hope you find it!

Hope to fix it tomorrow. Both bolts fell out that hold the front of the skid in. The ones by there your feet go.
