Slim chance.Yamaha Canadas Chris Reid basically said the demand is there but to clean up emission would cost too much.They still sell this sled in Europe/Russia in an updated version(wide skis,new rear suspension).No need to clean the emissions in those markets.By the way this sled is yamahas bestselling model...........http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/eu/products/snowmobiles/wide-track/vk540iv.aspx?view=media

I think the worst part of ANY of the new work sleds is the lack of a fan cooled model. anyone that grooms feeder trails with an 8' mogul master knows that a liquid cooled sled is useless. heats up and overheats. I use a 500 fan skandic super wide track. the fan has plenty of grunt with low gear, and the 24" x 156 goes anywhere. yamaha makes a sled like the old viking (what I would have preferred over the skandic but couldnt find) and there is a market for sure. sadly, emissions does come into play
