Hey guys. Im in the middle of doing my clutches and I have a setup on mind just wondering if the experts could give me there 2cents worth in on it.

Primary

8BU 00 Weights 4.5g in the tip nothing in first hole.
Gwg spring

Secondary

Rx1 helix 51/43 I believe
And stock spring @ 70deg

Help would be Great. Without your clutches done right ya got nothin!

I also have stock spring from Rx1 and stock primary srx. And a Gwg secondary (not at the shop right now might just be green)

woody, i am gonna guess your rpm will be to low. i think your setup will work, but with a different helix.i don,t like a 43 finish with a 4.5 at the tip of 8bu. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Ya I'm looking for something that's gonna take off but not kill itself well trail riding. Maybe 4000~ engage and I don't wanna go over 84-8500
I also have 2.4g rivets too and the stock helix out of it. I kinda like the way the 51 43 shifts if I can find a setup with the gear I got. Going to the lake tomorrow so I'm tryin to find the best setup . I also have the stock weights not sure on the number I'll be at the shop in a few hours.

Any advice with the stuff I got? And buy rpm to low do you mean engage or peak?

Thanks alot!!

And I pretty much have to stick to the 8bu 00 because my stock ones are wore right out.

And I already went threw the clutch chart you guys have (great info by the way!!) But none seem to go with the the parts I have on hand.

it will probably work but your gonna need to make alots of test to get your rpm right ..I think the 2.4 rivets in tip would be good if u run stock gears....just a guess

I'm a tooth up on top 23.

Like I said going to the lake tomorrow any help greatly appreciated!!

this was turks set up, looks like you have most of the parts.

51/43 Helix, 8-bu weights w/3.6g rivets in tip and 2.4g in 1st hole, WWW primary spring, Green secondary spring

Ok I'll go get 3.6g rivets in the morning. And 70deg on the secondary sound alright?I'm running at 100-200 ft . What's closest to a www spring? Ill get one if they have one but if not

woody try that with 8bu-00 for lake running. this is not a race set-up though. 41 finish might work tad better with those weights. 8bu do not like to be loaded in the finish angle. 38-39- 40 area seems to work better with these weights. especially when you have added alot to the tip like you did. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Is that with 15,6 mm rollers? lengthening the message by at least 5 characters..

Ok so here's the setup I came up with works really good.
Primary
Bender spring (about 20lbs more of a finish then the Gwg, had them on the spring g tester)
8bu-00
4.5 in the tip
3.1 in first hole

Secondary
Bender racing 45 41 helix
Green spring wrapped at 70deg

Works real good with my 23 38 gearing . Engages about 4000 rpm and holds at about 8550 on top wish I could get it down 50rpm but I think I'll leave it lol

I'll try that tomorrow night!. This is a great aggressive trail setup. If I was going to the ice drags I think I would go with the 51 43 helix though
