Guys I have an 02 Viper with under 400 miles on it, sled is like showroom and I got it super cheap. Looking to do a tunnel and rail extension on it as I love longtracks. Question I have is what rear suspension should I use?? Keep the proactive that is in it? M-10? Rear suspension out of a RX Warrior? What are the mono suspensions I keep reading about? Give me some feedback guys on what you think is the best suspension to use....not looking to go off into the western mountains but some occasional powder riding.....thanks for the advice.

M-10 is made by a company called fast, they are a cushy trail sled suspension. Proaction has no action and hurts my tailbone. Mono is the next step up from the pro-action, it's made by yamaha. There's also an Expert X which is a great trail and aggressive suspension. There's reviews in the Tech section for both the M-10 and Expert. I don't think the M-10 would be very good in the powder, I'm not sure about the others. I have an M-10 on my SRX and it's more of a cadillac suspension for sleds, proactions great for trail riding and cornering but it trenches like crazy.....

Stay away from the Hartman kits. Installed a 144" kit on my Attak last year and this year I removed the snow flap to install a longer one, only to find two huge cracks along the back. The thread explains it all on the four stroke side under Apex general.
